Einar Gaylen Dolman June 1, 1941 - February 22, 2023 |
A spring burial will be at Faith Lutheran Cemetery with military honors. Einar Gaylen Dolman was born on June 1, 1941, to parents Einar and Gerda (Hofseth) Dolman, Madison, MN. He was baptized and confirmed in First Lutheran Church, Madison. Gay attended and graduated Madison High School. He graduated in 1959.
He joined the U.S. Navy and was an active member for 7 years. He was united in marriage to Kiyoko Fujimoto in Japan on May 4, 1964. To this union 2 children were born.
He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and the VFW.
In life, Gay was a carpenter and did many jobs for people. He enjoyed watching racing, his grandchildren’s sports, wood working, coffee with the guys and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Kiyoko, his children Debra (John) Madsen, Daniel (Carrie) Dolman, 5 grandchildren; Alex, Brandon, Jase, Brody and Rikka, his brother Cal (Connie) Dolman, sisters Janice Kline, Lynn (John) Schweitzer, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Einar and Gerda Dolman, sister Carole Behl brothers in law Wil Behl and Art Kline.
