$6,630 was collected in our 2019 ELCA WORLD HUNGER DRIVE

Here is what our congregation donated
to help end the cycle of poverty and hunger …. FOR GOOD !!!  
Ready for this ? Here we go:
2 herds of goats,
1 combo honeybee/ vegetable garden
1 water well that will bring up to 500 families a clean, safe water source
5 water filter systems
Tuition for 2 women to Farmers field school
Over 70% of women support a family alone in many countries.
Microloans for 2 women to start their businesses
School fees and uniforms for 5 girls ( without this, they can't GO to school )
School supplies for 1 entire classroom
1 large community vegetable garden
Mosquito nets for an entire small village to protect them from malaria
Stocked health clinics with ALL supplies for 2 weeks
Nutrition for 3 children for an entire month
All vaccinations for 5 kids
Feeding a refugee family in a refugee camp for an entire month
4 Sunday school start up kits
Motor bike for a pastor to get from village to village 
as some serve thousands of people in  remote parts of some countries,
Filled 20 backpacks with food for the weekend for those with food insecurity
1 month of all supplies needed for a disaster survivor,
Lastly, feeding 50 people at a soup kitchen for 2 days.
Is it the most amazing thing how far our donation can go
to help our brothers and sisters in need. 
Scripture tells us we MUST help others in need.
